In the discovery phase, we will look at your content and do research to understand who visits your site and why. Through evaluation of data such as Google Analytics and possible user testing, we can get clarity on your audience.
We will then establish goals for your site.
Who is your main audience? In this phase we discover personas that bring your customers to life. A persona is just a representation of the people who will be interacting and using your digital product.
Basic persona traits include location, gender, age, and device behavior. Other helpful insights may be hobbies or personal interests that tie into your brand.
The site map & wireframing phase is the point where we establish you site architecture. We’ll sort through your content and create a site map, which will give us the overview page structure of your site.
Once the site map is complete, we’ll start with a wireframe prototype. This will be the skeleton of your site that shows how users will interact with your site. This will also help establish a framework for the design of your site.
Now that we have the road map of your site established with the site map and also the wireframes, we design the look and feel of your website. From selecting fonts, colors and visuals we will start to apply them to each page.
Based on the visual designs created from the last step, we create a rough prototype that is a clickable replica of the proposed website. By creating this prototype, it allows us to visualize and interact with the site to ensure that what we designed makes sense to the user before we begin development.
This is a perfect spot to identify any potential user issues and adjust the design accordingly.
This step happens when you want a more vigorous real user test of your designs. Sometimes you do this with just the wireframe, sometimes the prototype, or sometimes both. This step is to show your new site to real users to help reveal possible areas of improvement. This step is sometimes skipped due to accelerated timelines but can offer real candid an useful feedback.
We’ve made it. It’s time to get your site developed. We have the site map, wireframe, and design. With these items and a list of functional requirements we kick-off the development phase.
Quality Assurance testing is the final phase of this process. We take the site that has been developed and run it through rigorous testing to identify any issues or defects that may have arisen from the development phase.
You’ve made it! All the hard work of planning, design, development and testing has paid off. It’s exciting to have your site be in the proper place to launch and watching it go live is the most fun part!
Across professions, consistency is a direct product of work ethic.

Mike has been an amazing web designer for our business over the last six years. He fixed our entire website from the start, and since then everything has been amazing. He’s very attentive to details, listens to our ideas, gives honest input, and also adds his own personal touch to our work. We’ve never had to ask twice for updates or changes, and his timeliness is unmatched. We would recommend Mike over and over again for everything from minor changes to complete overhauls!
